I have, in the past heard people talk about that the last driver (72.** i think) was bad and slows the system down alot, is the newest (formally beta) 77.77 good?

AMD A64 3200+Venice
DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D
OCZ 2x512mb EL Gold VX PC3200 ram 3-3-3-8
evga eGeforce 6800GT 256mb GDDR3 ram
Enermax 485W PSU
Bios 3/10
WIndows XP SP2
No OC

Supposedly from what I've seen the 77.77 is causing problems go with the 77.76 which seems to be the same but without the glitches.

Funny considering the 77.77 are the W.H.Q.L. drivers. :lol:

Omegas are great... for ATi. He has help from them.

His nV releases are usually quite slow and behind the rest.

I'd recommend the NGOdrivers or ZeroPoint.

One of the best locations for drivers for both is Guru3D;

I've had a few serious problems with the 7.7.7.7 drivers and downgraded to 7.1.8.9 which were the last decent ones and very fast in my opinion.

with the 7.7.7.7 i was getting this "blur" effect in games while running at 1600x1200 that would have textures update slower than others so it appeard to warp on my screen and caused me headaches. the effect disapeared when i downgraded
