I am looking for info of what type of graphic card (AGP x8)will work on my Pc.It`s a Dell Optiplex Gx 270 P4 (Small desktop computer ) and it`s using the small profile graphic`s cards. Where can I buy one in the 256Mb/s range. The power supply is 210W.Operating system Win XP Pro.If I want to upgrade the power supply, any suggestions as to where I could also buy one if needed?

Honestly 256MB in any low profile card will be a waste as there simply is not any powerful low profile cards. Same goes for power supply; I doubt any low profile will have a large consumption so you should be fine.

Problem with low profile cards is that most if not all will have a 64-bit memory interface crippling the already weak performance of the chipset.

I think there was a low profile 9600 pro or XT and I'll send a link if I find one. That would be the best I have seen. Otherwise it's typically 9550/9600se or FX5200-FX5700le type cards.

I don't think much has changed since it was talked about below. 64-bit Radeon 9550 or 128-bit Radeon 9250 will be about as good as you'll find.
