Hello,

I am having problems starting the print spooler service. The error
displayed by Windows XP (SP2) when I try to start the service is:

[Could not start the print spooler service on local computer. error 1075:
The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.]

The rpcss service is the service which the print spooler is dependent
upon. It seems that the rpcss service is running, as the service reports that
it is already running (as reported by sc.exe and by running tasklist /svc
from the command line) , so I am curious why the print spooler service would
report otherwise. This error seems similar to article 839089 on technet
though with different services involved. If anyone has any suggestions or any
questions about particulars please feel free to ask. Thank you in advance!
