9800 pro dead, or fixable

A black heatsink near the molex connector has snapped with a small black faceplate (i think it's a transistor) glued to it. I think a few pins attached to the transistor broke, so when i glued the transistor with the heatsink back and put it back to the MB, i got a bad screen corruption :(.
The pins attached to the transistor thing look like those legs in this picture: http://www.omroep.nl/nps/hetklokhuis/kinderkast/gfx/chip.jpg
but there were only 4 on each side.
Any way to connect them back to the transistor?

I'm going to say dead forever, unless you know a good micro-soldering technician who will do it for free...
