i also received the same email lately and chances are contact adress
have been leaked out of Fido database. somehow someone managed to get a
hold of valid mail accounts... what i recieved was a well built fake,
nicely balance acording to how it scored against baysian filtering. it
has a tag and a gif meant to identify the recipient, it containt an opt
out link wich probably put your email in a database for further spams.
according to its headers it came from server1.inbox-ads.com
66.216.96.226 wich domain and ip info points to a colo box at rack
space. the domain is registered to a "Schwartzberg Alan" when valid fido
domains are of Microcell or Fido Solutions inc for the administrative
contact. I seriously doubt fido outsource it's mail communication to
such compagny, it never has done so in previous years... also, a quick
lookup has revealed that 66.216.96.226 is heavily blacklisted on
many rbl's, consider
