Hey all,

I have a Nvidiia card in my PC, with "Digital Vibrance" Enabled. I think almost anyone here can admit that after seeing your compuuter screen with DV on low / medium, then seeing it with DV off you want to cry.

I just got a new laptop (ATi Radeon x600 card) And it's great. It's got a 17" LCD (It's an H.P. zd8000). The screen is the brightest of any laptop, but i want to cry because the colors are so dull without using Nvidia's Digital Vibrance.

I've accepted that there's no tools out there that can change your color saturation settings (it's a simple concept, ROFL) and i heard ATi was coming out with this tool soon. But, i've been all over the web and no one knows anything that can mimic DV. All i'm asking, is, - might anyone here know of a website with a guide where you can tweak the brightness, contrast settings, etc to get more color?

P.S. If you say "It throws off color-accuracy" I won't even respond. DV is either something you will love, or hate. Kind of like shopping.

I don't like it to be honest, and I know you said not to say it throws off colour accuracy, but it does. If you like it that is fine, but it doesn't really interest me.

Lol - You know, if you have a monitor that allows you to change the color settings what do people that don't like alot of color do? Do you turn your monitors color down to halfway so your color is "More accurate" ? LMAO!

I do ALOT of photo editing and graphics design (visit http://c7d.50webs.com if you don't believe me). I guess people like you are scared to death of your color being messed with. And, if you put DV at a low setting, it adds just a "thouch" of color, and they still remain accurate.

Still, i've heard that you can mimic digital vibrance by using gamma / contrast / brightness settings etc. Any help on this would be great.

DV (Digital Vibrance) is a little color setting on Nvidia drivers that make your monitor extrmeley... well, vibrant!

Lol, for those of you out there that don't know...

Well, i guess we'll just have to wait for the new ATi feature that allows us to tweak color saturation, since no one here knows how to do it by changing brightness settings =(
