All players are instructed to hold the ball up to maximise control of the
game. The wingers move from M to AM positions and I have an AM/F C moving up
to support the lone striker as I find this really throws the defence out of
whack. And always attack. The back 4 should be very defensive and only one
central midfielder should ever be told to make forward runs.

Got Farnborough to D2 and Millwall just won the premiership with this. I
rarely need to alter it.

4-4-2 with with the two MC`s defensiv and with through passes and lots
of creativity. The ML and MR on forward runs and crossing. Two "gung ho"
strikers. Ultra defensive DC`s and backs that are always closing down.
This is just a few of the elements but I change the instructions for
each player as well.

I thought the ref is playing as forward, not defender :]

Ok, let me know if this looks weird...lol..wich it does now... Four
defenders, two defensive midfielders, one "normal" midfielder with
attacking skills, two amc`s with good dribbling and a quick striker to
run through the defensive lines.
