In Dec 2002 Microsoft discontinued access to all service packs and cumulative security updates for MSIE 5.5. At that time, IE 5.5 entered the "Extended Support" phase, which means no more FREE service packs or upgrades, including cumulative security updates. Access to the IE 5.5 service packs is now a "pay for" service until Dec 2003, at which point neither love nor money can get them for you.

I desperately need copies of Sp1, Sp2 and the latest "cumulative update" for MSIE 5.5

Has anyone downloaded these in the past and saved them for posterity? Can I appeal to a community-minded individual for help?

Thanks,

Laird Posterity
