I have 3 hard drives, a 250 GB SATA, a 40 GB IDE and a 200 GB IDE. I
went through alot to get the BIOS to see the 2 IDEs after installing
the SATA, I mean alot. Well, I finally get that, and then some trouble
logging onto WinXP, then finally, the desktop. Well, I go to transfer
my files from the 200GB to my SATA, and 'My Computer' doesn't recognize
them. So I go into the device manager and there they are! So, my
question is, if they show up in device manager, but not in 'My
Computer', how do I make them show up in 'My Computer' too?

control panel
administrative tools
computer management
disk management
connect and format the new drive
you might also need to partition that 250 gb drive into smaller
segments......100/100/50??

It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about
the problem

I forgot to mention... I already have WinXP installed on the SATA. Can
I still segment it?

Ok, ok...
I just went into the device manager, the other 2 drives show that they
aren't partitioned, even though one is. How do I fix that without
losing all my stuff from it???
