I have an evga 440MX 8X it scores 1587 on my 2.66 celeron D and my 2.8C P4. I've tried drivers reinstalling windows, every thing. I know that card scores more I should at least be getting like 4000 on my P4. I tried a newer bios but it just messes it up. If the card was defective wouldn't be doing much more weird things than just getting set frames on all of my machines?

Scores in what? 3D Mark 2001? It should be around twice as high, unless it's a 440MX SE or something. In 3D Mark 2003, 1587 would be an impressive score considering your card is really just a GeForce2 and only supports DirectX 7 features.

Oh, by the way, cards based on GeForce2 technology show no noticeable improvement going from 2x to 4x AGP interfaces, so 8x is meaningless.

Yea. My Athlon XP 2400+ and GeForce4 Ti4200 only scored 1600 in 3DMark2003. In 3DMark2001 it scored 12,767. For that card, you should get around 6000 or so for 2001. A lot depends on the drivers. Older drivers work better with 2001. Like the 41.09.

Yes, as I recall my PIII 1000EB with GeForce2 GTS (basically what an MX440 is) got around 5600 in 01...

I wish that was 2k3, it's 2k1. I change the bios to some random GF 4000MX now it scores 2500 still to low.
