Seems to be part of your video generator circuit. Did you re-seat your
socketed roms/ic's??

I've seen that with monitor issues as well. If you know for an absolute
fact the monitor is actin right then:

Look for appropriate acivity at the BIx POTS. If something looks
wrong, work backwards, if all is ok, work forwards in the vector
analogue generator section. I can't recall off hand the chips, but
there should be a dac and two other chips before the pots. One of the
two others caused my issue.

Asteroids doesn't have BIP pots. My guess is a DVG problem, but
it *could* be a problem in the analog section of the video output.

When you work on a lot of Atari vector boards they all sort of blend together...
