Hi All.

I have an on-going probelm with this.

Ever since I have gotten his kit, I could never get it working.

Finally, I have my own place and am dpening the time with each of my
hames....current project is ms pacman.

I just installed my multi-pac, plugged it in, I get gameplay, but a
very faded partial picture during gameplay..with NO menu.

I have swapped boardsets with other known working boards, but still
get the same thing.

Any idea how I should proceed??

Tnx!!!

I have an idea, ask Clay. Seems if it never worked, then Clay would
work with you. Or, see if Clay will service it.

Seems to bee either the 4a or 7f. If I can get them locally, I will,
just gotta figure out what chips they are.

They are bipolar PROMs ( 82s123 and 82s129 ).

Many fine folks on this NG can help you out.
(...and so can I ! ) ;-)

This may be of help:

Clay's kit doesn't use the 4A and 7F color PROMs. They are removed with the
installation of his kit. I just went from Clay's kit to Mike Doyle's kit,
and had to add the 4A and 7F chips back to the board. Incidentally, Stephan
@ HobbyROMs.com burned them for me and did a fantastic job with very fast
shipping.

Also, here's a link to the guide for Clay's kit (at the bottom of the page):

Hope this helps.
