Hello
I am having problems with the USB controller on my laptop. It is Compaq
Presario 2100.

I get this message about a problem with the host controller when I plug in
my Lexar jumpdrive. It tells me it would work better if I had a 2.0 Hi-speed
host controller. I never had much probems with it tell now. Can't find a
updated driver for it. I put in the latest service pack 2 that was suppose to
fix problems like this. But I'm still having them problems with reading what
is on the jump drive. It wants to format the jump drive too. But, it says
Windows can't recognize it. WHat gives here? I am also having problems with
the HP printer all in one not being recognized too. It will print, but I
can't get it to scan for me. I think this is all related.

Anyone got anyideas where to find updated driver and how to fix this silly
problem?

Contact HP. They seem to be very helpful.

I had the same problem some time ago on my Presario R300
needed to update Bios.
