Keyboard and touchpad dont work simultaniously

Hi there
Ive got an acer aspire one d255 laptop and its equipped with this annoying problem - i cant use the keyboard and touchpad at the same time so some games is impossible to play. Is this something that is built in to this model or is there a way to fix it?

Disable "palm detection" on the trackpad. It is a setting which disables the touchpad while you're typing so not to move the mouse around the page by mistake.thanks for ur answer but i cant find it. only option i find is palm check which guards against accidental touch of the pad. I have the synaptics driver installed, maybe it doesnt feature the detection option?
