Hi
Does Anyone if its possible (and if so, how?) to restrict access to certain folders in XP with diffrent users?

example: Folder c:\my stuff\private docs. all users seem to be able to access any folder or file on the HDD(s) regardless of "Admin" or "Guest" privilages except for those in the others "My Documents" folder.

Is there any simple way to do this? or an easier option maybe...can you password protect a folder?

You should be able to right click on a folder and pull up the "sharing and security" dialogue. From there, if you check "make this folder private" it will be invisible to other users on the machine.

There are also 3rd party utilities available if you decided you want to password protect your items.
