Hello,

I have an external hard drive (no os is on the hard drive). I'd like to password protect it for security reasons. Any ideas on how to do this? The os for my computer that I'm accessing it with is Windows 7. Thanks.

Password protect your external hard drive with encryption software. Both truecrypt and bitlocker are good options. You can also try this usb encryption software i'm using now. It is much easier(3 steps), I think.
