Reroute power from usb to internal fan. Tags: Fan USB Power Laptops SirRichieRich November 13, 2012 5:59:35 PM I need to use the USB power to power a fan in a laptop which is going to be directly connected to it. Yes I know itll always be on, but the PWM is fried. The fan needs 5V 0.35A and USB as far as I know is usually 5V 1A. So what resistor can I use to drop down the amps for the fan? Many thanks for any help. More about : reroute power usb internal fan Can't find your answer ? Ask !
