street fighter 2 used the standard jamma harness to power, run, display
ect. .. game uses 3 buttons per player off the harness and the other
buttons you would need to make a harness for. if your asking if other
jamma boards would run in a sf2 dedicated cabinet, the answer is of
course, yes.

I believe that games that have additional inputs, beyond the ones
supplied by plain vanilla JAMMA, are typically known as "JAMMA+". And
yes, as Chad notes, regular JAMMA boards should plug into it and work
fine. However, note that your Street Fighter has a horizontalyl
oriented monitor, so you'll be limited to regular JAMMA boards designed
for a horizontal monitor... unless you like playing with your head on
your shoulder.
