Looks like the entire series is good! Let's hope they're available in quantity.

Why does the X1300 Hypermemory have 1ghz memory and the PRO has 800mhz?

Also with the X1600 slides, it says the clock is 590mhz and 500 for the XT and pro while the fillrate is only 2.36 and 2.0 gigapixels, shouldn't it be 7.08 and 6 gigaxpixels?

Hmmm.

Some people are like slinkies....
Not really good for anything but you cant help smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.
Edited by Action_Man on 10/03/05 01:09 AM.

to anyone, I have a question: ATI said somewhere that by Dec. they would have something that would best the Xbox360's graphics abilities (possibly overall performance too) and I am curious if it is this coming lineup that ATI may have made reference to. Or, is there a secondary lineup that you suppose will come out in Dec?

K8T NeoFIS2R
Athlon 64bit 3400
2X1024 OCZ DDR400
Maxtor 40, 120
Western Digital Raptor 74 Gig
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
NEC LCD Monitor 1760NX
Antec Tru Power 550
Windows XP

Hmmm. Odd. I can't imagine them providing a refresh in December to cards introduced 2 months prior.

Maybe the R580 isn't being released along with the R520, and will be let out in December?

Do you remember where you heard that, KA?

Hey Cleeve, did you notice the support for SM3.0 and 64bitFP HDR for the X1300.

Damn, people better start selling their X850XTPEs and buying those!

Heheh, yeah. And an X1300 with 512mb must be better than an X850XT with 256mb, right?

Because the 'megabytes are more'. And 1300 > 850...

Right?

Interesting sell sheets. Although I have to say that it looks credible, singling out specific game levels where the X1xxx series would have the most gains... even if there is a rediculous "1 Ghz" mistake. Authentic ad writers make mistakes, too.

Yeah and this is more of an info sheet where proofing isn't as important.

I think it's credible, but just like the FX5200 checklist features, it won't be a major consideration for the X1300 series.

I think that considering the GF6200 and 6600 inclusion it's interesting where they're positioning this card, and it'll be interesting to see if nV does bring anything to compete with it before X-mas.
