I am going to build a new system for my friend. He said he wants to have a pcie mobo and card but would like to install win98 and winxp.

I don't know if pcie card will run under win98. Has anyone tried this?

Nvidia's Unified driver package seems to be available for 98, so it should work with an nforce4 mobo at least. too tired to research properly though  .

Why anyone would really want to anymore is a bit beyond me, unless it's for a DOS application that needs low-level Comport access [/Personal experience]

Yes, it will work so long as you have drivers for that chipest.
