Hello,
I am currently having a problem installing the HP LaserJet 4100N
printer connected to our network. Installation starts and begins fine
until copying files begins and at around 60-62% of progress a critical
error occurs and installation is terminated. Can anyone please help.
The install occurs on all PC’s with Windows XP and the new Service
Pack 2 updated on them. Any other PC’s with Windows 2000 have no
trouble installing the printer and all PC’s without the SP2 updated
are able to install. I am wondering if it is a problem with the
Service Pack and what I can do to troubleshoot it.
