The Catalyst 5.11's have been previewed, and they have a new memory controller algorythm that allows amazing speed increases in OpenGL when AA is enabled.
Beats them at their own game in Doom3 (gasp) and gives mighty speed bumps in other OpenGL apps, Riddick and Serious Sam 2 - not necessarily beating Nvidia, but bringing them within a hair's length of them.
If this wonderdriver is this good, and Ati can find new ways of optimizing their new programmable architecture, Nvidia will finally lose the OpenGL supremacy they've enjoyed for so long.
