Hi
I have a Sega Afterburner pcb fitted in the original metal case with
the filter board fitted.
I am currently converting this to jamma. I have got power, sound and
video at present. i am using the widely available wiring diagram from
the manual.
The game runs ok, all graphics and sound present.
When i try to contact the wires on the filter board for the coins and
start switches according to the wiring diagram nothing happens. I have
noticed that these are connected to some pc817 optocouplers.
IC156 PC817 (led input side) when tested with a diode tester give
readings connected both ways round (anode and cathode). the other
PC817's don't. is this the cause of my problem? Has the led's inside
the optocoupler burnt out?
