I'm having a little problem on ebay.

Couple weeks ago, I posted two arcade games for sale, sold both to different
bidders with 0 feedback. Both said they would send a money order, neither
did.

Last weekend, my ebay account is hijacked, along with my email account,
etc... apparently there was a virus on my computer transmitting whatever I
typed to someone.

Well, ebay gives me my account back, and by that time the guy had bought
thousands of dollars worth of stuff, left tons of negative feedback, and
even left negatives for all the people i had sold to already, but hadn't
left feedback.

So ebay starts cleaning all of this up...

Now, the guys who bought the two games? Both leave negative feedback saying
they never got the game, and the 'money order was cashed by someone at this
address".

First off, I didn't know you could trace who cashed a money order. That's
rediculous.

Second, neither buyer has ever replied to any emails; and their phone
numbers are fax machines. I'm telling ebay that they have improper contact
info and the feedback should be removed immediately.

Also, though, all of the people that the guy who hacked the account left a
negative for? Everyone of them still has a "-1" next to their name, on
their feedback profile. It's like the comments were deleted, but the number
wasn't.

Ebay claims it's because the site hasn't updated, but it's been 6 days.

Any comments?

Ron

I can't speak to Ebay problem resolution specifically, but I can say
that Paypal complaints take a L-O-N-G time to be resolved. Between 3-6
weeks usually

Hey Ron.It's true that the #s do take a while to change on ebay
feedbacks. When i sell something on ebay and get feedback i can read. But the
# doesn't change for days.Then all of a sudden they do.So it's just a matter
of a few day's to a week or so.

You can find out who cashed a Postal MO but you have to have the
original receipt. It's a $3.50 or so charge to do so and takes a week
to ten days to process.

So, if both of your buyers used postal MO's to pay for their goods,
they can go to the post office, fill out the form (provided that they
have their receipts) and the post office will mail them a photocopy of
the cashed MO.
