Hi All-
I have searched high and low with no luck. The closest I came was
someone having one listed on his website, not for download. I e-mailed
him and hopefully I can get a copy, but for now I am lost.
I need a manual, preferably a pdf, so that I can download it now.
Has anyway found one of these?
All I seem to find is the upright version of Phoenix and I need the
cocktail.
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks.

I have one for a "Fhoenix" which is obviously a bootleg. I've never
seen a Centuri Phoenix cocktail. Perhaps this is the manual you need.
There are also schematics for it. It is a paper copy and a little
rough. The cabinet depicted looks a lot like a Nintendo style cabinet.
The English in the manual is terrible. It is more like Engrish.
I can make a paper copy and send it to you if you like. Shoot me an
e-mail after unmunging my address if you would like a copy.

Let me know also. I have a Phoenix cocktail that does not flip screen for
player 2.

Pat-
Yes, yes, yes, definately.
That would be great, thanks.
Seems like I read somewhere that the cocktail version of Phoenix was
made in Japan, so Engrish would fit right in to that.
I have 2 cocktails that need monitors and they almost look a like, but
they are both (supposedly) Phoenix's. They both do look a bit like a
Donkey Kong cocktail.
I sent you an e-mail, hopefully I got it right. Had to guess after the
patda, I hope it was patdanis@?
If not, I use my correct e-mail on here, you can e-mail me.
Thanks a bunch.

Yep, I got to run so I'll get it when I get back on Monday. Anybody
want to scan this for the archives? I don't have a decent scanner right
now.

Hey Tim,
Too bad I didn't get this post before I went to the CA Super Auction.
They had a Phoenix Cocktail there and it was working fine. I could have
checked out a couple of things for you....the dang thing only brought
$175 bucks too!

Ted-
I have 2 different Phoenix cocktails and both need monitors. And the
connections for the monitors are different in both.
I'm hoping the manual will help out some.

I have read that Kinko's does a descent job and I think they will even
turn it into a pdf for you.
I have been thinking of taking my MACH III manual there, since I
haven't seen one anywhere for download.

wouldn't bother with the mach 3 manual. It's out there if you look.

I'm sorry, I meant a sit down Cisco Heat, duh. I haven't found it
anywhere to download, but I have an original manual for it.
I have a dual sit down Cisco Heat and need to find a manual for that.
I have 2 MACH III manuals, don't know why I wrote that.
-Tim
I also need a dual sit-down Speed Racer manual and a Super Shifter
manual.

I can scan it for you... I'm out right now after just having facial surgery
so have some time.
LMK if you want me to do it and I'll e-mail you my address.
Best,

Mailing it to David Haynes who said he'd scan it. Didn't realize this
one wasn't available. Found it in the back of a rotten Williams
cabinet. Thanks for the offer.
Besides, you have to go mess with your Elton John and Star Wars finds.
Lucky bastard.

That's Star Trek, not Star Wars.

Pat was nice enough to send me the manual to scan.
It is now available for download from

This thread has been an interesting read. I too have a Phoenix cocktail
that was running Space Cyclone when I got it. The control panels have
the Taito logo on them and the normal "fire" and "barrier" buttons, so
I can only assume they're meant for Phoenix. Mark Spaeth was good
enough to trade me a Phoenix board with Taito ROMs so I can get this
puppy back to its original glory. If you're interested in seeing yet
another variation of the Phoenix cocktail control panel, see here:

Pat-
I received the copy of the manual today.
No wonder I couldn't ever find it, Phoenix is spelled wrong, LOL.
Thanks a bunch. I sure hope it gets me to where I need to be.
Thanks again.
