Well, much as it pained me to do it, I had to strip down the Exidy Chiller
I'd been holding on to... I was planning on restoring the cabinet and
selling it complete, but the cabinet was (as we say at work) "beyond
economical repair". Giving my RGVAC brethern a stab at this stuff before it
goes on eBay.
The upside is, you won't have to pay shipping on the cab... it's just a
standard Exidy 440 cab anyway.
OK, so we have:
Working Chiller boardset (sound is not perfect, but not too bad, write for
details)
Chiller marquee (condition 9-9.5)
Chiller control panel with working gun and CPO (gun condition 9, CPO
condition 6-7)
Chiller (?) bezel (looks like a Crossbow bezel, condition 9)
Chiller harness (hacked to utilize an AT power supply, far more reliable,
will include power supply)
and a ton of cabinet parts:
coin door, power supply and AC block, mirror, monitor, frame, brackets,
marquee brackets, speaker panel and grille, speakers, light fixture, I even
pulled the Exidy stickers off the side!
If you're interested, but want to save on shipping, I can leave out the AC
block, monitor, coin door, or whatever you want. I will *NOT* separate the
main components though (boardset, marquee, CP, etc).
I will take some pictures today and post them somewhere, but I figured I'd
let the interest folks get a jump on this.
