HELP!!!

I have an EPoX 8KTA MB, 800Mhz T-Bird, 128mb Micron PC133Mhz (Running at 100Mhz).

And I've been running the computer with an OEM V3500 for over a month, and the computer was stable over that period. However, the computer won't boot up anymore, unless I change a video card....... But that voodoo card still works on other computer..... Can someone tell me what's going on?

Did you make ANY ( let me stress it a LOT!) changes to your configuration lately? Change driver? Checked if the card would work in another pc? Tried Voodoo? ( huh, no, forget that one!)

Did your card give any sign of weakness in the last 24 hours or so before this "thing" happened?

The ONLY change is that I closed the case....

The card does work in other pc's (both PII system and K6-2 systems), and the computer can't even boot up, not to mention to change driver with this card.

The card did not give any sign whatsoever........

reseat the card...make sure bios is set to agp as initial display.
Alternative suggestion, put pci card in machine, reload agp drivers after successful boot.

Have already done that.....

It's just that one card..... My ATI Expert 98 works, and Diamond V550 and Stealth II G460 all work in that machine....

Looks like a faulty part... I think you should consult the manufacturer. Or maybe your mobo needs flashing.

BTW, why do you use 'monkeyhouse'? Are you a Monkey Island fan?

Set BIOS to failsafe mode?
Kill all Det 3 drivers while in safemode, use reference drivers?
Herc on the card to make sure it's really seated...

Did contact the manufacturer and tried everything they said. It just comes down to looks as if that card is not compatible with that MB.
