Problems with New ASUS GEForce 2 MX 6.18 Drivers?

Myself and a number of people I know bought a ASUS GeForce 2 MX, and found that the 6.18 drivers took away a great deal of the functionality of the regular drivers that come on the CD. Has anyone else had this problem? I found that the 6.18 drivers have no color control and no refresh rate overriding. As well as, feature enable/disable menus!

So why are these new drivers so cut back?

stick with Nvidia reference drivers unless your card have special feature. the lastest offical Nvidia driver is v6.31
you can find v7.17 at zoiah.m3dzone.com
v6.31 is much more stable than v6.18

I had a similar problem when I installed the updated 6.31 drivers for my herc mx2 with dx8.I changed to the 7.17 drivers and everything is now hunky dory.
