Help!
I acquired a Galaga the other day and was adjusting the color on it
when an adjustment pot broke off in my hand (no wonder it wasn't doing
much). It has a funky chassis (Eygo is the brand) in it but not sure
what was the original chassis was. My question is...what will happen if
I just stick a chassis from a WG4900 in there? The tag on the metal
frame says WG531574. Does that help identify what chassis used to be in
there?
Any help is appreciated....

The pot is an easy thing to replace. Measure the resistance across the
outer two legs of it, but one from Radio Shack or online, solder on,
enjoy. Easier fix than swapping chassis...

go to bob roberts site and use his chassis identification page to make sure
you know what your looking at...
then just by a new pot.. they're cheap...

IF it has an EYGO chassis in there, it is probably an electrohome
replacement. I'm all for going to Rat Shack and picking up a pot
(before they discontinue them) and soldering it in place of the broken one.

i doubt you'll get one from the rat-shack.. I'd be mirracle if they have a
surface mount trim pot in the right value.
