My Xenophobe is in need of a new power supply and I decided to install
one of the MCR Conversion Kits. Since I was going to place the order
at work and didn't have the original PS in front of me, to be certain,
I asked Stephen Gregory at ArcadeShop if the switching kit would work
for a Xenophobe with an MCRIII power supply; he told me it would.
Now, I had thought that all Xenophobe cabs came with an MCRIII power
supply installed, but when I went to compare the original supply to the
Conversion Kit, I discovered that the connectors on the original supply
were not going to work with the Conversion Kit. (Putting this machine
on a switcher is apparently not going to be as easy as it was for my
Tron.)
So... Is this really a MCRIII supply, and if not, what is it?

I guess I'll have to, but I would rather replace it with something a
bit more reliable and easy to replace if need be.
I'm all for keeping things as original as possible, but when it comes
to flaky old power supplies, I've never had much of a problem updating
them with more modern technology.
So, does anybody know what type of power supply this is and whether or
not it originally came installed in the game?

If you can email me a picture of it i can try and match it up with one i
might have in stock.LMK
