Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this under, but....

In the last four weeks I have had two items that I needed to install that
came compressed; one was via Microsoft, the other was via ATI, if I remember
right. I'm running Windows XP Home.

Anyhow, after the whole thing downloads and runs its unzip, ArcSoft
Installer pops up with that desire to install Imaging and Photo software,
like stuff that would come with a printer, etc. They are all legit programs,
but I can't figure out why this is popping up instead of what I wanted.

At one point I let the whole thing install, then tried to download the
drivers I needed from before and see if it would do it... same thing popped
up.

I'm behind an up to date Symantec firewall and have no spyware, etc, so
that's malicious redirecting isn't the problem.

Any hints????

Thanks!
