I am looking for a great affordable monitor. I want to get a 19" but, don't know if my wallet can suport it. Any suggestions? I would like to spend around $300.

Check some of the local stores around your area. You can get 19" monitors pretty cheap. Try a Viewsonic or KDS heard they are pretty good. Stay away from Magvision monitors though. Check my post about the resolution problem with mine.
