Ms. Pac problem: Double maze, characters not double

I hope someone can help me with this one. I could not find this problem
on the mowerman page. I have an intermittent problem with Ms. Pac that
gives 2 full size mazes overlaid with 1 slightly lower than the other.
The game characters are not duplicated so I know it isn't the monitor.
Sometimes when I turn on the game it has this problem, then later it
goes away and works good for a week. Please let me know if you have run
into this before.
