Hi

I'm shehab .i'm new here.this is actually my first post here.

i was hoping you can help me.

i'm a game developer and i'm planning to get a new laptop that have the power to use cry-engine 3,3ds max2013, Photoshop etc... and play powerful games like max Payne 3 and call of duty MW3.here is what i came up with



my price limit is 750$

Ram:-4GB (upgradeable to 12 GB)
CPU:-core i5 2.5 third Gen
HDD:-500GB or higher

what i need help with is the GPU
should i take
nvidia geforce 680m
or
nvidia geforce 680mx
or something else

please help
i'm sorry for any spelling mistakes and if got you dissed :??:  :pt1cable:  cuz i'm not that good in english

At even DOUBLE that price, you would not be able to find a laptop that has those specifications!

Yeah good luck finding a laptop like that for $750. Not even close.

As the other's said, though if you do find such a laptop, let us know where ;) 

The main problem you have for this price is the 680m - the cost of this card alone, in mobile form, is going to shock you!

A great way for you to get a head's-up on cost would be for you to check out a couple of custom builder sites. Just plug in your chosen specs and check out the total cost. Of course, custom builds do tend to be a wee bit more expensive.

You'd be far better investing this money in a desktop, if portability is not urgent (you need to pay much, much more for a laptop to get the same power as a desktop).
