AIW Radeon/ MoBo problems?

I have been trying to design a system for about two weeks now. Evey time I think I have it, I find another issue. I had narrowed it down to either a duron 750 or Thunderbird 900 on a Asus A7V. However, I have now heard that these two don't work together??? I have also heard that there are issues with the Abit Mobo. Would the FIC work, or is AMD somewhat doomed when it comes to the AIW radeon?

I had 2 ATI AIW Radeon card and have to say they truly suck. The only thing that works properly under Win2k is the TV tuner. Nothing else works properly. A few popular games play fine but that is it, most games I own dont. I recommend you return it before your return time is up. I am returning to 3dfx myself. Yep it is a lot slower than other cards today but it works with win2k and all my games. I wish you luck. BTW I tried very hard to resolve issues with ATI and no luck and support email reply's were derogatory.
