I know on the ultra there's a manual jumper to switch from 2x to 4x agp. If that's the same on the normal you could try it and see if it makes a difference. Sorry I have no formal doc. though.

I got it, but when I tried it [-peep-] up bigtime.
I think it was just a gimic or something,
U have ot add a jumper, and then move the other.

If U realy want that 1fps more I can e-mail U a copy of the instruction.

The card default setup is for AGP 1x,2X
jumper J1,J2,J3 open
jumper J4 A-b

Move J1,J2,J3 to closed
J4 to B-C for AGp 4X if your mother board supports it

JK is almost right with his gimmick theory. You really shouldn't worry about 4x, its just 2x with DDR(sorry its actually 1x with a quad pump). Todays vid cards have just barely maxed out 2x. The situation is similar to the DDR dilema. Todays software doesnt really need it because coders were taking the then present day hardware into consideration. While todays vid cards can use 4x the apps run on them simply dont need the extra bandwidth. The future will see 4x utilized to its potential but right now its not really necessary. I wa pissed off when I bought a mobo just for the 4x and found out it was useless, especially with the tnt2u. Happy fraggin, Diemos
