More Information

Archived from groups: alt.cellular.fido (More info?)

1) Got a Sony Ericsson Z500
2) Got a USB data cable
3) Downloaded Sync Station softeware from SE Z500 support site
4) Installed sync software and rebooted when prompted
5) Connected phone to cable. Waited. Nothing happened.

Windows XP recognized the cable and installed drivers. The instructions on
the SE website don't mention anything else. So what am I missing? Is there
a driver for the phone itself that I'm supposed to get? There's a link on
the site to download modem scripts, but they're not going to solve my
problem.
