I recently had a very bad crash, and had to reinstall everything: system,
programs and data. Now I'm not getting any sound at all from my computer.

On previous occasions when I've got no sound I've re-installed the driver
which I've downloaded from the above link. However, when I try now
I get an error message :

<< This program requires Windows NT version 5.01.2600 or later >>

Before my big crash, I have used this driver installer several times
without problem . What gives? Why is it asking for NT when I have
XP installed?
