Weird Iexplorer problem pls help

Hi all i got a problem with my internet explorer all the sudden right after i turn my pc on when i click on IExplorer it loads right away but not the website! and at the button left where it usually shows the site that its loading it just says start downloading from site,nothing responds for 1 minute then it loads my homepage and everything is fine but it does this everytime after a start my pc!,everything else on my pc is fine but when i click on explorer after a restart i get this,can someone hlp pls
this is what i get after i start my pc and click on explorer,(it lasts for about 40 seconds to a minute)

ive also restarted my pc and left it for 5 mins then clicked on explorer and the webpage loaded right away so as soon i start my pc it downloads somehting or whats going on? any ideas?

it might have been downloading the picture from your homepage

Do you by chance have your pc set up to delete all temporary internet files everytime you close explorer?

If your homepage has a lot of pictures/graphics/animations on it, it will take longer as it has to download these files everytime.

just a thought...
