I've got a feeling this may be a tricky find. No matter, I'm wanting to buy
one. Please have an amount in mind (can't guarantee I'll [be able to] pay
it) as I haven't a clue what one would go for.

For those with buddies (internet, personal, etc.) I would greatly appreciate
spreading the word. Dependent upon whether or not I actually buy one that
someone found for sale, I'll gladly offer a finders fee (not a fortune,
though $50? sound good?) TIA!

Most of the guys that collect those hang out over in rec.games.pinball.
So be sure and try over there.

I emailed them. Typically, they are expen$ive (though its understandable as
they have overhead as a business). We'll see. I was hoping to find an
individual that may have it for sale. Though thanks for the tip! I did
email them never-the-less.

I didn't think $699 was "expensive" but I guess it must be! But you can
probably find these at auctions...as so many new ones flooded the market in
early 90's and there they will be much cheaper....good luck! Todd

$699 for a working 30 year old game with some degree of rarity is hardly
expensive I think

No, $699 was not expensive, though the post was made before the reply to the
email. I'm a business owner myself, thus, I understand the losses of
overhead. Aside from that the word "expensive," being an adjective, is a
personal one based on budget.
So to you Todd and Art, I believe I'm entitled to my opinion in that most of
the games TNT sells is "expensive." I honestly cannot believe I got jumped
on for that post, it's not as if I wrote libel. <shrug> I certainly did not
mean to offend anyone.
Obviously the prices at which you sell your goods is not considered
"expensive" to everyone. However, I did note that

Wow, what a start for me in this newsgroup. Suffice to say, I suppose we'll
agree to disagree, especially since you feel you have control of my budget.
<shrug>
1 : involving high cost or sacrifice
Specifically in my case. The large majority of his prices "involve a high
sacrafice" to my budget that I set for this "hobby," as I already have a
quite expensive (dare I say, ridiculously expensive) "hobby" of drag racing.
Now again, incase anyone is joining us late or after retention has expired.
I did NOT write any libel towards Todd or his company. In fact, the
response I received from him via email (which, was AFTER I made my intial
post concerning my opinion of his prices being "expensive" as in,
"expensive" for MY budget) was nothing but courteous not to mention the
price of $699 I thought was a FAIR price. Albeit, everyone jumped on my
case before I could come back to the thread to state that I had heard from
him and that he supplied a reasonable price. No matter, the issue is closed
I'm sure.
Is there is a militaristic "hazing" that is conducted within this newsgroup
that I am unaware of? In either case, I do hope to become an asset to the
newsgroup, just as many of your already are... and yes, Art, I do not doubt
you're one of those assets (as well as Todd).

Sounds like you took a shot at Todd to me.Saying his prices are expensive is
slandering him.He happens to be one of the nicest people to deal with on
this newsgroup.I have purchased many games from him and his service was
impeccable.I would have been glad to pay even more for the fast and reliable
service he gave me on several occasions. As busy as he is he still gave me
all the time i needed on our phone conversations. And a more knowledgeable
and honest businessman you won't find very often around here.Except for Bob
Roberts. He is the only person in the same league as Todd in my opinion.

Gotta do better then that Mark. If I wanted to hear second rate come
backs, I would pay attention to what people have to say at work.....

This just shows (not that anyone really needed proof) what an idiot you
are. Saying that someone's prices are expensive is not slander.
Todd may be a great guy (never dealt with or met him so I really don't
know) but after taking a look at the price list for arcade games at the
TNT web site, I think his prices are *quite* expensive.

I expect a sudden spike in the price of this game now that there has
been so much attention brought to it
