Boss wants to splurge and put a MAME cabinet in the office. Been out of the
hobby for a while now, who is selling mame cabinets these days? I googled
it, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
Looking for an upright, including control panel and guts. Not looking for
anything including ROMs or a computer, I can supply that, unless there's
something special I'm missing (special software?).

My company, Diamondplate Games, sells a dedicated high end MAME machine
in a two or four player setup with spinner, Golden Tee style tackball,
stereo sound powered by an independent amp, 27" monitor, front loading
dvd drive for playing movies or loading games, custom fronte end and rom
loading software, and includes about 80 licensed games. Your choice of
colors and marquee art. Free software updates as we expand the system.
Current project is to add an mp3 jukebox, nearly done making sure it's
bulletproof. We ship nationwide. Email me at mazdadave@msn.com for
prices.

www.arcadecontrols.com is the number one MAME cabinet resource. I'm
pretty sure they have links to the major builders. I can't access it
from work to verify, but check them out.

Slikstik has a top notch control panel. Have never seen one of the cabs in
person but if they put as much care and quality into the cabs as they do in
the cp, it would be a great product.

Better yet arcadeshop now has a killer looking Super Jamma cab with support
for a 27" TV or monitor and an undrilled control panel. It is very nice
compared to others. I was just sent a picture as I am looking at adding a
fighter style cab to my collection to compliment the classics and keep the
younger kids (15-30 age group) happy when over.

If you got the money to spend make sure you get either a Betson or
Wells Gardner D9200 27 inch monitor and a arcade vga card. With the
card and monitor combo you can play all horizontal and vertical games
at their true arcade resolutions with no streching or interlacing. You
can even play pc games at 640x480 with no interlacing. I have the wells
gardner 27 and arcade vga setup and love the result. Where are you
located. I would sell mine. It has illuminated happs trackball, 2 happs
optical joysticks with steel handles, an oscar spinner, and a glowing 4
way joystick for pacman, metal dance pad for stepmania and a momo wheel
for racing games. Oh forgot to mention my buttons glow blue.
