I reinstalled Win XP-Home on my machine last night. For some reason, and probably a real simple one, I can't re-establish my internet connection via my cable modem. I thought I went through the set-up in XP correctly. But, no luck. I have the machine going through a router to the cable modem. My spouses machine had access, so it's not the ISP. I'm guessing that I missed something during set-up. Can someone offer advice or is there a guide available that is more useful than the XP help stuff.

Thank you

Did you use the Connect Wizard (START/Programs/Accessories/Communications/Internet Connect Wizard)? Make sure your NIC doesn't have a yellow question mark in Device Manager. That should do it.
