New system:
AMD K7 T-Bird 800mhz
Asus A7V - VIA Apollo KT133 Chipset
30G Hard Drive ATA100
Asus V7700 Geforce2 GTS
Asus 8X DVD
Yamaha 16x10x40 CD-RW
SB Live!
Windows 98 2ed

Installed the VIA 4-in-1 Drivers - No problems
Installed the Asus V7700 Drivers - Under the quick setup program I get No Asus card found! So I used the Display Property Page. Everything seemed to go okay.
Trying to install GART Driver but run into the problem of detecting the chipset on the motherboard. There is a selection of Chipsets yet the VIA Apollo KT133 is missing.

If any one knows what drivers are best and how to set them up properly for a system like this one I would be forever greatfull.

Use the Detonator 3 drivers. Version 6.49.
Uninstall all of your current drivers and then set you card to the default PCI VGA graphics adapter.
Restart then install the NVidia drivers.

Update your BIOS and check your BIOS settings. I am using BIOS 1005a without problems. Make sure you have the graphics set to AGP first.

What sound card problems? You can download the latest SBLive divers at www.soundblaster.com. Beware of the LiveWare software, I heard it causes some system crashes with the A7V and Geforce2.

Have fun!
