my video card ran with a memory speed of i think 130 something and a memory speed of 142. how can i tell what a safe speed for overclocking it is? i tried 5 mhz with each and it is working fine it seems a little faster too :)  is there anything i should be careful of or any tips? thanks

Crank it up till it crashes, then back it off a little.

I would watch it with cranking up thow, cause in some cases it can damage yuor vid. card. Im guessing you are talking about your TNT2. If so you can safely overclock it without problems as mentioned above. Only dont overdo it and make sure there iis sufficient cooling for the graphics chip. Else you could definately shorten the lifespan of your graphics board.
