Hi,

When listen to sounds and music from my laptop, sometimes the sound is high pitched and distorted in the left speaker. This happens with the built in speakers and my headphones. I have suspicions that it might the sound card or software that is causing it.

Have you tried different media players to excluded software issues? Also, try reinstalling your audio drivers.

I have tried another media player. The same thing happens. When i first played some music the left channel was high pitched and distorted. When I tried again it was fine. And then it was distorted again.
