I am stuck between two PCI Video Cards and I can't diecide which would perform better on my system, I have a Celeron 500 PPGA. There are articles comparing the two AGP versions which the GeForce MX shows much better, but the MX loses alot of perfromance on PCI cards. It seems to be a little bit more powerful in Open GL -Quake 3. But in 3dmark 2000 D3D it gets a much lower score about half the score the AGP version gets, they say it has something to do with the hardware T&L on the PCI MX version is very limeted. Could anyone clear this up for me. By the way I was going to get the Creative Annilator 2 MX PCI if I got a GF2 MX PCI. I was wondering if puting software T&L on instead would help results on the MX. Anyone have any preference on which is the better PCI card.

I like 1024x768 for rez

Well, I'm biased against 3dfx, so I'd go for a GeForce 2 MX. A new motherboard would do you a lot of good.

Why stick to PCI?

To what the firsr reply advice, change a mobo

have AGP4x
have ATA100
have a good time

never use a PCI for graphics

perhaps going through some of toms previous article found in the more releases link will clear things up for you.
