I am having P-III 1.13GHz intel CPU with Asus Motherboard supporting 133MHz FSB and 512Mb RAM...Iam looking for a GOOD AGP card. should i buy GeForce 4 Ti 4200 or is it too much for my system...??????????????

it depends, what is your current video card? Keep in mind that you can always pull it and put it in a new system when you get the money.

Nah that CPU should be able to push that video card to its limits.

No matter what you buy, you still wont beat my old VOODOO BANSHEE...!!!! with whole 16MB of RAM.

I remember when that came out. I was stuck with a measly little 4mb card.

hey 2 16MB voodoo2s in SLI still own! I wish they would have kept that trend along with newage video cards....

Just imagine what 2 radeon9700 pro's could do 8D

They'd probably have to much of a heat problem. Plus IRQ sharing can be a bitch.

Hey bt,

I should be able to push that same GPU with my system shouldn't I? 900Athlon on a DFI AK74-EC w/512PC133 nonECC SDRAM

With the kind of prices I've seen for the Ti4200 cards, I don't see why anyone with a decent PC looking to upgrade their video card wouldn't consider one. With the Thanksgiving sales I've seen $100 prices. Not bad at all.

Sorry puneets,

I got tangled in my own post with the others. Sorry if you felt ignored. My fault.

The GeForce Ti4200 is a very good choice because of it's price/performance when compared to its bigger brothers (sisters). I can't remember if it was here in THG that they compared the 3 Ti series but look into the... okay I found it.

THG actually praises the Ti4400. But the Ti4200 isn't bad. If I find the benchmarks I'll post it here.
