Nvidia Geforce2 MX

Who know????? Nvidia Geforce2 MX
I just bought Nvidia Geforce2 MX. I also use m/b A7V award bios 1004d. I know that both Nvidia Geforce2 MX and A7V can support AGP4X.
But how when i check at information in the expert tool plus' Nvidia Geforce2 MX, it says the BUS Type is just AGP2X.
I want to know how to set it to AGP4X.
let me know too.

Is the BIOS set for Optimal performance which uses 4x, normal only uses 2x

I have come to be your saviour... Here is the registry hack info http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/via_agp4x/ I hope this helps. I know exactly hat you are going through as I had the same problems.... Oh yeah, for best performance I have read that you pretty much need PC 133 ram to take full advantage of AGP 4X speeds. Dont askj me why, but if you have PC100 ram then it wont work like it was intended to

Thanks a lot for the registry hack. My Geforce2mx is work at 4X now.

Anyhow, the difference between AGP 2x and AGP 4x is unnoticeable most of the time.
