I need some help here. I just built a new rig and the mobo wont detect my AGP card. Im currently having to run one in a PCI slot. Its an AMD T-Bird 800 on a Gigabyte KT133 GA-7ZX. What do i need to do to get the AGP slot to work?

Got exactly the same problem. My motherboard is the TMC TI6NB, running an intel pentium III 800Mhz.

I have tried the hercules Prophet, Creative labs and Absolute multimedia and I get exactly the same problem with all of these cards. It works when using the standard PCI vga drivers suplied with Windows 98 but as soon as I load the card drivers to get SVGA - BANG it hangs windows and I have to reload the VGA drivers.

Very frustrating!!

I had already changed bios setting to boot vga from AGP. As I was using an AGP creative lab riva TNT card before without any problems.

As ar as I am aware there are no new vga biop updates for the Absolute Multimedia outrageous card. Or is there?

I am running the lated mother bios which i needed for the Pentium III 800 to work.
