I recently replaced the inverter and the inverter cable on a friend's MacBook.
The quality of the display, brightness for example, is working fine.
One problem remains - the screen goes blank when I try to move it. I've found a temporary work around. I'm able to get the screen working again if I turn the brightness down all the way and then turn it back up. But, I'm unable to get the screen to stay illuminated whenever I move it.
I'm thinking that there might be a problem with the display cable but I'm unsure.
I've looked at several related post with the same problem:
Based on this information - it seems like it's either the display cable or the LCD itself. Is there a good troubleshooting method for determining which part is the problem without having to order both parts?
